Another Look: Social Objects
Considering the three questions we explored, what happens when we think about the use of objects in the social realm through the way they physically "attach" to the body? For example, how could we understand a chalice in the social realm, if a chalice relates to the mouth, and the mouth, according to John of Salisbury, represents governors and judges?
