A 10th century lead seal of the Byzantine Period. On the obverse of the seal is a peacock standing facing forward with its wings and tail outspread. On the obverse of the seal is an inscription written in Greek in the same format as most most Byzantine Lead seals owned by kommerkiarios of the Byzantine Period
